Welcome
As regular readers of my site will have noticed CartoonChurch.com and the Cartoon Blog have been down since Sunday morning. I’ve written more about the technical reasons for this on this page. I’m hoping that by spending time and effort making a backup site I will persuade the proper site to stop working again.
My usual CartoonChurch e-mail addresses have also been broken – this means that I have not seen any e-mail sent to me on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and today. If you want to send or resend an e-mail please do so using the address given on this page. I’ve given a mobile number there too, or there is my usual mobile and telephone if you know them.
I’m aware that this has caused inconvenience to all manner of people, not least those who have paid for the use of my cartoons. I’ve posted a number of cartoons with high resolution versions on this site, so that there is hopefully something there for anyone who needs a cartoon urgently for a parish magazine. If you need a particular cartoon or a cartoon on a particular subject then e-mail me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can (make sure you use this address).
I’m hoping that this site won’t be required for very long, but unfortunately I really have no idea how long it will be. I will of course post here when the site comes back, and I will keep this as a backup in case the same thing happens again.
Dear Dave,
I saw a wonderful cartoon of yours yesterday or the day before showing a screen hiding 2 people and a dog. In front of the screen was a group of people handing over something saying they represented x,000 Anglicans. But I can’t find it now. Please will you let me have the link.
I’ve missed your posts very much.
with best wishes,
Anne Lee
